Memory and reflection factors heavily into Nukuluk’s new single ‘Faith’ that revisits a beat from pre-NUKULUK sessions with their friend Patrick Fitzgerald aka Lore of Deathcrash. The song was influenced by Monika’s loving but dominating, religious mother; the agnostic rapper reckons with his debt to God, as the source of his resilience via his mother’s love and support. Nukuluk’s unpredictable collages of hip-hop, punk and electronica got them fans at BBC Radio1, BBC 6Music, The Quietus, Clash. Lore (Deathcrash) produced an early version of the song. Syd took it on and reimagined it.
