PAULINE, whose last name really is PARIS, is a tiny little woman with an incredible voice that stays with you. The press speaks of her as a nice blend of Piaf meets Catherine Ringer (Les Rita Mitsouko). A modern-day ?50s Parisian,? her writing style is unconventional like that of the famed French author Boris Vian. She is accompanied by a group of irresistibly charming musicians who blithely blur the lines between styles, from jazz to bossa to rock... Together, they transport you to a world rich in emotions, with a style firmly grounded in the new scene of Frenchwoman singers. Born in Paris in 1985, Pauline is a strange animal, a ?stage junkie.? She sings everywhere she?s asked, sometimes up to 4 times a week! She held her first concert in a Parisian bus when she was barely 16, receiving her first performance fee from the bus driver: a 5-franc coin! ?For me, a week without singing is a week wasted,? she declares. Onstage, she?s a surprise, energetic, and a free spirit. To date, she?s performed in more than 500 concerts in Europe. In 2017, her third album CARROUSEL will be released in France and Germany (so far!), produced and arranged by David Lewis (Paris Combo, Manu Dibango, Lokua Kanza...) with Frank Redlich (sound engineer).
