Ffran May has been living in Brittany for 25 years. A quarter of a century to immerse herself in the Breton language and culture ; yet she remains true to her Welsh roots. She began singing in competitions at the age of five, and has over the years , recorded with such artist as Alan Stivell, Yann Honore and the guitarist Yann Queffeleant. Used to writing in her native tongue, Welsh, this album is the first time for her to branch out into songwriting in English.
